Chicago Poets: Social Sharing of Local Content
A GPS-enabled arts magazine that allows users to discover art, music, poetry, stories, and videos in their communities, Chicago Poets is an exciting project that is redefining the digital canvas, and an example of possible partnerships that could come out of our own MIMMiC Project. Sharing GPS-enabled, location based content, Chicago Poets is an app which allows you to submit content attached to your current coordinates: walking by one of these points will cause your phone to vibrate, alerting you to content within your vicinity.
